I really liked it. I've been playing it now for the better part of an hour and I really like it. I like the upgrades on the weapons and I find my favorites are the large plasma shotgun and the electric zapper thing. I've got them both to level 5 and I'm kicking butt and taking names. :)
Good job!

I really liked this game. I liked the upgradable tanks a lot.
One thing I didn't really like though was the adherence to the path you choose. For instance, lets say I choose the heavy tank and proceed to get pounded back one upgrade. Well, I'd like to have the opportunity when I level back up to choose something different than the heavy tank.
I'd also like to have the ability after completing the game to use any of the tanks that I've used in the past. Like for instance, upon completion of the game I'd like to be able to choose to use the fighter tank I used the last time I beat the game or something. The invincibility in the end just makes it boring.

I really enjoyed it. It was difficult for me to allow her to become specialized in one area and to allow other areas to suffer. It drove me nuts.
After I got the maid work to give me a dress, I worked for her a second time after that and my daughter went into a funk and I couldn't get her out of it no matter how low I got her stress level. Maybe she was having a bad month or something..
It was enjoyable. I saved it to my favorites and I'll play it again someday. I want to get an ending other than wanderer. :)

I didn't really think much of it when I first laid eyes on it, but now that I've played through it, I want more! It was a great game. It was easy enough after working with it that I could figure out what I was doing.
It was a nice progression of difficulty. The later levels were tough enough that I had to think before I just experimented with the balls, but not so tough as to make me throw my hands up and just give up.
If you are so inspired, I'd love to see another one as I was just getting psyched about this one when it ended. Although that might be a good plan because "Always leave them wanting more."

"What? Huh? Instructions aren't much help either."
I'm trying to get this, but I can't. Maybe I'm not real good at deciphering these directions.
Does the "skill bar" for lack of a better description have anything to do with anything? If I get the shot near the middle I get a "good" rating, nearer to the outside "ok", on the outside "poor". But I'll be darned if I can figure out if that feature does anything or not. And I'm not too familiar with the skill kill feature either. I can't figure out how to really use that. A demo/tutorial would be helpful and go a long way in making this game more enjoyable instead of downright confusing.

"Fun, but I'll repeat one of my comments from 1.0"
I like it. The instructions are definitely more helpful this time around. But on 1.0 I left a comment about this so I'll repeat it here because it didn't get put into the game this time around either.
For the love of all things holy give me a hotkey to upgrade! I can't click fast enough on the unit then on "Upgrade"! Let me press "U" to upgrade the unit or something.
Other than that I find it fun and challenging. But the upgrade hotkey thing keeps me from wasting too much time on it.
Author's Response:
Thank you for that about Instructions.
And I agree with you, we should have put the "U" hotkey. A mistake :(

"Good game - IMHO needs the difficulty toned down."
I've seen another reviewer post that the difficulty gets very hard very quickly. I couldn't agree more. In what seems like no time at all it's near impossible.
But my biggest complaint is the fact that once a bird gets about half way down on my rear, my gun is so long I can't hit him until he's already gotten himself a fish.
I haven't gotten past the laser upgrade yet. I'm not sure if I'll keep trying though because it's so infuriatingly hard.

Some people might think that hard is good. But if in your game description you have to ask people to try to get past level 4 (which, by the way, I haven't been able to do yet) then it's too hard. That first mech you battle on level four is really tough. His missle are too powerful, in my opinion.
But as some of the others have stated, I'd like to see a store where I can upgrade my mech.

I have this favorited from back in the day, but I can no longer see the cards. It tells me the deck chosen is undefined and it won't allow me to chose one.

I really liked it. I thought it was simple, yet challenging.
I may have found an error though. I'm not entirely sure. But it seems that gravity "works" more when I stop spinning the maze. For instance, if I start spinning and my ball leaves the floor the way I can get it back down is to stop spinning. I'm not saying that the gravity doesn't work when I'm spinning, but it seems to work less. Maybe it's an optical illusion caused by the spinning maze or something.
